JD Brunch Series - Cafe Sbisa

Cafe Sbisa has been on my radar for a minute and with the beginning of Black Restaurant week being right around the corner, I figured it would be a perfect time to go. It’s located in the French Quarter, a few blocks away from the French Market. The restaurant has two floors with a large bar on the first floor and a smaller bar on the second floor. It gave me a 1920s feel.

It was pretty dark on the second floor so it wouldn’t be ideal for pictures however there is a balcony overlooking the quarter.

I went in with really high expectations for the food, however I was a little underwhelmed. I ordered the Crawfish and Andouille Omelette with wild mushrooms and a creole sauce. It wasn’t bad. Overall I think the plating could’ve been a tad bit better as well since it is a fine dining restaurant. Check out my dish and some of the other dishes below:

Now the customer service was on point and our waiter kept the bottomless rolling. We didn’t have to look for him because he was on it. He also has the mimosa ratio down with 80% champagne and 20% orange juice!

I always enjoy the brunches. It’s great to have a network of successful and confident women. These ladies are all about supporting each other and strongly believe in collaboration over competition. The vibe is always great and I look forward to these monthly meet-ups!

Now ya’ll know I always tell ya’ll to stop sleeping on the cheaper stores! I always tend to find a few gems! My “Overdressed” t-shirt can be found at Pretty Little Thing, the skirt came from It’s Fashion and the shoes are from Citi Trends…yes Citi Trends!

My photographer Britt wandered and found some other picture worthy areas in the restaurant. Check out some looks from the ladies!
