Confidence

If I had a $1 for every time someone told me they love my confidence, I would be able to quit my 9am-5pm. I legit hear it once a week. I use to get offended, like am I not suppose to be confident? But then I had to remember the world we live in. I don’t meet society’s standard definition of beauty because I am plus-sized. So when someone sees me exuding confidence it’s inspiring.

The definition of confidence is a feeling of self-assurance arising from one's appreciation of one's own abilities or qualities. What sticks out the most from this definition is “self-assurance”. Confidence starts with you! What ever you believe about yourself is what you’re going to exude. You can change your outer appearance and still be unhappy. It’s a mind thing. I’m sure we all have some insecurities but we should never let it get in the way of our happiness or ability to enjoy life.

So if no one has told you or you haven’t told yourself…you are beautiful, hella bomb, you are intelligent, you can conquer anything and you got it going on.
